Quality Control Technician
Anadolu Vacuum is opening a new career opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Control team in Adana, Turkey.
This position is intended for candidates who are precise, attentive to detail, technically minded, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where dimensional accuracy, tolerances, measurement reliability, and consistent quality are essential.
At Anadolu Vacuum, precision and quality are integral parts of our manufacturing processes. As a Quality Control Technician, you will support the verification of manufactured components against technical drawings and specified requirements while working closely with the production team to identify and address quality-related issues.
Position Overview
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing dimensional inspections, interpreting technical drawings and tolerances, evaluating measurement results, documenting nonconformities, and preparing quality inspection reports.
The role requires confident use of conventional precision measuring equipment, a disciplined approach to inspection, and the ability to accurately identify deviations in manufactured components.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Perform dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and similar measuring equipment
- Interpret positional tolerances and geometric tolerances specified on technical drawings
- Evaluate measurement results against specified requirements
- Identify nonconformities in manufactured components and record findings accurately
- Prepare measurement and quality inspection reports
- Support root-cause investigations of identified quality issues when required
- Work in coordination with production teams to address quality-related findings
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of measurement and quality control processes
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a technical high school, vocational school, associate degree program, university, or a related technical field
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges effectively
- Ability to accurately evaluate and interpret measurement results
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify nonconformities and deviations
- Systematic and quality-focused working approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and continuously develop technical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in CMM operation
- Experience with form and contour measurement equipment
- Familiarity with additional precision measurement instruments and inspection equipment
- Previous experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments
